Aki ceremonial matcha, Fukuoka 40 gr

Aki is a ceremonial matcha with floral, honey, butter and very soft aromas, with no bitterness only natural sweet aromas. Aki means bright in Japanese, and has been sourced from various tea estates in Yame, from the island of Kyushu and only the finest shaded-grown tea leaves are used to create this matcha. 

The tea farm in Yame has a volcanic soil, which creates a very nutrient-rich matcha. The matcha is freshly produced upon order, to ensure the best quality.

The tea producer has been making this matcha for years. The tea plants grow in the shade for over a month before the harvest, which increases the natural sweet and healthy side effects such as enery, stress relieve, immune system. The marble grinding wheels take 40 minutes to grind the tencha leaves to fill one canister of 40 gram. You can taste the love.

The canister is UV light protected to ensure the freshness of our matcha cup.
